Guillaume & i spend a moment people watching in the Place des Terraux

Guillermo, whose toes must be pointier than everyone else's, wrote this story for me to illustrate.

Evidemment non, car ce sont des animaux difficiles,
  très difficiles à voir...

Of course not, because these are very,
  very difficult animals to see...

Très peu de gens les connaissent!

Very few people know about them.
  Because of...

A moins de regarder souvent dans ses chaussettes avant de les mettre.
  Manger les bouts de chaussettes, les glouftocs adorent

Because of not often looking inside their socks before putting them on.
  Eating the ends of socks, glouftocs love

Oh, je crois qu'il doit y'en avoir beaucoup par ici, toutes mes chaussettes ont des trous!

O, I think there must be a bunch around here, all my socks have holes!

Coming back from Lyon: hard to say if Felix picks up Gui Chou hitchiking, or the other way around.

kyra, ryan, sara and I took our sketchbooks and went to the Portland Art Museum, where they had an exhibit of prints involving kimonos and scenes from the upper crust.
